As a Foster or Bio Parent
The most important mention about the foster/Bio parent relationship is that you are a team -- you are not enemies! The unity and synchronism of your parenting and interactions shape the success of the child currently displaced. In order to do what's best for the children we must learn to work together to create and mold better futures. Check in with one another and support each other through this journey. Split households DON'T have to mean split decisions. Having two moms and dads has always been cooler than only having one. That should mean more support not more confusion. Be clear in your intentions and interactions with one another. Communicate often and always converse amongst each other to make sure you have clear understandings of one another.
