Berea Thompkins has her B.A in Criminal Justice and has been a licensed resource parent and philanthropist for more than 15 years although her journey opening her home up to others began long before becoming a resource parent. While well seasoned and very active in the community as an advocate, she enhances these accomplishments with her vast certifications ranging from First Aid/CPR Instructor, Mental Health Recovery Specialist certification from Jumpstart MHALA, Mental Health First Aid certification, Criminal Justice and Mental Illness NAMI certification, Trauma Informed certification, CSEC Certification, RBT, Counseling certification, Gang Intervention Specialist certification, Court Visitation Monitor certification, RADT (CCAPP), IHSS certification and Domestic Violence Advocate. She works closely with bio and resource parents far and wide to create more stable homes. She values healthy minds and healthy homes.

Dejah Thompkins holds her B.B.A in Business Administration with a minor in psychology. Her love for the community and youth enables her to work closely with youth in the system while leading by example. Her compassion and care is matched by her qualifications and education. At the young age of 24 she has already set out and become a licensed resource parent, licensed childcare provider and philanthropist. She has acquired her Mental Health Recovery Specialist certification, Crisis Response certification, CSEC Awareness & Prevention certification, Behavioral Learning Education certification, Court Monitored Visitation certification, Communication & Conflict Management certification, Academic Support certification and IHSS certification amongst many others.

Hello I am a community activist, fundraising specialist and certified life coach. I have had a passion and desire to help people achieve their full potential and I have accompanied this with a physical therapy aide certification. My knowledge and expertise coexist with my deep love and appreciation for independent expression and individuality.

Mrs. Thompkins brings her experience of more than 30 years serving as an Administrative Assistant in the legal community, including 25 years at the law firm of Jones Day, 4 years at the law firm of Robinson and Pearman, and 2 years at the law firm of Jacke and Jacke. She is active in the community and has served on the Board of Directors for Sheenway School and Culture Center, and S.O.A.R. Community Center.

I have a profound commitment to the advancement of human potential and well-being. I have a beacon of leadership in the field of human development. Armed with a bachelor's degree in human development from Long Beach University. As an Executive Director I have a unique blend of strategic vision and compassionate leadership that has taught me driving transformative change in an organization.

I am in charge of ensuring that products, classes, workshops and all family onward events meet established quality standards and that we provide the community with the best quality service and products that we can.

I am a dedicated Peer Support Specialist with a strong background in healthcare and community advocacy. Combining my experience in healthcare with my passion for community-based initiatives, I am uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between healthcare providers and the broader community. I am committed to making a positive impact through my communication skills and event coordination as well as healthcare education.
